An update? It must be April Fools, ne? ^_- Sadly, this isn't a "real" update, merely an "I am alive" statement. I just realized that I haven't touched this site since January (has it really been that long?). I've got a project that has been consuming my time as of late (a couple of them, actually). Next time, I really will have something good to announce. Really... hey, stop laughing!

Well, the new millenium has come, and the world still hasn't ended. I suppose this means I need to get off my lazy ass and actually update, ne? ^_-

Sadly, my schedual has not allowed me to do much (go get a job at the Post Office, and you'll see why). More recently, a certain even has arose, claiming even more of my time. I shall discuss it more in depth below. First, I actually do have a new addition to this site. More specifically, I have started MSTing bad Sailor Moon fanfics. As of yet, I have not decided which section I should stick them under. Until I do, you can get to them here. Please, I would dearly love some feedback.

Now then, on to the issue mentioned above. Anyone who has been to Troublemakers and All Things Naughty lately has doubtless seen the message posted on the main page. If you haven't, here's a brief summary.

A message was posted on TAATN's message board, alerting Emrys (webmistress of TAATN, and all around cool gal) to a website that stole her image galleries. Not only stole, but direct-linked the images and copied the HTML code as well. Emrys and several other people (including yours truly) contacted the site owner and (politely) asked him to remove the galleries. We all got apologetic replies from Yunior (the thief), who stated that he would take down the stolen material. Well, he deleted his index page for a day, then put it all back up. Yunior, it seems, is a very stupid young man.

Not only had he stolen Emrys' pictures, but he stole Wallpapers from other people, claiming that he made them, layouts, other images, and he direct-linked midis. I don't think there was a single original aspect to his site.

After seeing that his site went back up, Emrys got even more pissed (note: never get Emrys mad at you; the results are never good), and Yunior started flaming everyone (and amazing us all with his superior language usage, I might add). Here is a screencap of an email he sent me, if you are curious.

Anyhow, I have been busy supporting Emrys and doing all I can to track down and report this little twit. He was dumb enough to post his real name, home address and phone number on his site, so I've just been tracking his IP, digging up aliases, other websites, and reporting his conduct to those who should know. He asked for it.

If you've ever created a website, then you know how much work goes into it. It's even harder when you try to make a site that is completely unique (not an easy task in the SM universe). I know for a fact that Emrys and many other owners work their butts off. To see your hard work so blatently and rudely stolen is not a pleasant feeling. To any thieves, it's not worth it. Besided, Karma will always come back to kick you in the ass.

Added two new pieces of fanart. I also compressed all of the images. The image quality isn't as high, but it considerably cuts down on the loading time. I've been meaning to do this for a while, but found it difficult to reduce to resolution and thus reduce the quality.

I just did some fiddling with the main page. I like this version a lot better, but I'm not sure how long it will take to load on other computers. If it seems abyssmaly long, please let me know about it.

If there is a diety, please don't let Bush win the election today... Gore's an idiot too, but the more I see of Bush, the more I become convinced that he is the Anti-Christ. I'd love to see Harry Browne (of the Libertarian Party) win, but I'm a bit too realistic to forsee that occuring.

Oh, yeah... the update... Anyhow, I seem to have misplaced the disk with text I wanted to upload (and I can hear my mother telling me that I would know where it was if I were to just clean my room -_-;;;), but I did get some new fanart up.

I've officially put unveiled the new site (exciting, ne? -_-;;;;;). It's a bit earlier than I had intended (I wanted to open it on November 1, which would commemerate the one year anniversary), but I realized that I'm going to be rather busy for a couple of weeks, and better now than never. Hence, everything still is not done. Blah.

For anyone reading this who remembers the old version, and is wondering about changes... if you don't see something here that was on the old site, I didn't like it anymore and tossed it in the trash. I've regeared this site a bit, and I like it much better now.
