Although a relatively "new" gem (it was only discovered in the early 1900s), Kunzite has
already gained quite a bit of repute of its powers. This gem is translucent, with a faint pink
or lavender tint to it. If exposed too long to sunlight, the colour will fade. It has a
receptive energy and is asociated with the planets Venus and Pluto and the element of
earth.
The soothing, healing aura cast by kunzite can be easily felt. Just holding a piece of it
will relax tense muscles and tired minds. Though no ancient sources document this gem, it has
already garnered much aclaim for its uses. It is suspected to have more uses that have not yet
been discovered.
